About Jami
Her Work
Based in Southeastern Ohio, U.S.A., Jami Lynn works with
both fiction and non-fiction, including human-interest stories,
life experience and memoirs. She also has editing experience with poetry, children’s books and young adult fiction. Her favorite non-fction to work in and in which she specializes,
are the aspects of metaphysical content, particularly spirituality, the supernatural, along with personal growth
and development..
Background
Jami Lynn Sands is a writer, editor, and author.
After a 30-year career as a home décor consultant,
Jami Lynn pursued another passion. She began her writing career as a newspaper columnist on the subject of genealogy research and eventually released her first book entitled,
Heritage Quest, Uncovering Your Roots.
After editing for other writers, she was offered the opportunity by world-renowned author, Neale Donald Walsch, author of
the series, Conversations with God, to review and evaluate
manuscripts that authors sent to him. The review process helped to determine the book's readiness for publication, often leading to assisting in preparing it for publication through the editing process for those who needed and requested her services.
Interests
As you can see by the theme of this website, besides writing and editing, she enjoys all things related to the sea, as well
as traveling and spending time with family and friends. She enjoys meeting and consulting with authors in person,
whenever the opportunity presents itself. In addition, she has
a passion for genealogy research and preserving memories through journaling and scrapbooking.
Traits that she most values in herself and others are
honesty, integrity and a willingness to be a ‘light-worker’
in the service of others.
